About Rocket AutoWash

Rocket AutoWash is a car wash in Olympia, Washington. It is listed at 905 Union Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501, which places it among the local businesses of Olympia that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Olympia, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Washington, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Rocket AutoWash at (360) 946-2375; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Its Google rating stands at 3.1 out of 5 from 30 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

They don’t keep the equipment in good repair so rather than getting to drive up, get a wash, and go, you have to talk to myriad people to FIND the right place to pay (the dinky sign they put out is ridiculously unclear) and even getting started, we’re all just sitting here. I hoped to be done 15 minutes ago but I’m still here waiting. I’d leave if they didn’t make me pay inside. I’m waiting still. I may be here still as you read this. Will I ever get to leave? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else- barely functional isn’t good enough and is ridiculously unfair to the SINGLE employee trying to make this sad dumpster fire function Update: giving ONE star specifically for the employee, who is clearly doing her best despite not being given what she needs to do the job. Management should really support and express appreciation for this nice, hardworking person

I did get the $8 wash. The back of the car was still dirty. It showed brush marks but no indication of water. The attendant didn’t prewash anything. I usually get a great wash no matter how much I pay. Today not so much.

I went through early this morning at 7:30. The girl working deserves a raise! She did a thorough job scrubbing my car before it went through. At the end she noticed I still had soap on my car and kindly ran me through again for free. Also she did all of this in the pouring rain. I don't normally wash my car on a rainy day but it was really really dirty. I'm glad I chose the "Diamond Wash." I will definitely go there again.

Goes above and beyond the requirements they have to follow to make sure my car doesn't have to go through another time. The girl did fantasticly. If you ask for more then what they have to do best advice is tip for best services. Hard work ain't free.

Horrible rude staff. The car wash ripped an emblem off my car. When I came to retrieve it the red head girl at the front office was inattentive and extremely rude. She said because they have a new manager they are no longer responsible for the damage. Don’t get ripped off
